PLUG-IN/LINKING INSTRUCTIONS
BULB REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Once the second fixture is installed, plug the connector cord into the
receptacle on the end of the fixture, and plug the other end of the connector
cord into the receptacle of the previously installed fixture (Fig. 3). Your
fluorescent light bar has a two position rocker switch on the face of the unit.
Each bar is individually operated and dimmed. Therefore, you don't need to
have the entire chain lit if you only need light in a specific area. Simply turn on
the lights that you need.
3
If you are installing a second, or third fixture, and
simply need to connect it to a previously installed
fixture, follow the instructions outlined in Steps 1
and 2. Make sure that the distance between fixtures does not exceed the
connector cord length.
4
Attach the power cord to the "Power-In" receptacle on
one end of the fixture (Fig. 2). The 2 receptacles are
designed to only accept a specific plug (see
illustrations on page 1). NOTE: The Power Cord will
only plug into one end correctly, do not try to force it
into the wrong receptacle, this could cause damage
to the fixture. The linking cord is fitted with a distinct
plugs at each end of the cord. Similarly, the linking
cord (C) only plugs in with the correct
plug/receptacle combination. Trace the line cord over
to the nearest outlet, and plug in. Your fluorescent
light is ready to use.
Using a screwdriver, or other similar tool, pry off the
plastic receptacle cap that covers the input receptacle
in order to insert the power cord (D) (Fig. 1).

Remove the bulb from the fixture by placing your thumbs
on the metal ends of the bulb (Fig. 2). While applying
slight pressure on the bulb, roll the bulb toward you until
the contact pins on the ends of the bulb
disengage from the socket (Fig. 3). Pull the
bulb straight out from the socket and set
aside during mounting.
Remove the diffuser by pulling back and up on the top
edge of the diffuser using your fingertips (Fig. 1).
1
Place the diffuser in the top lip. Push the grooved edge of the diffuser down
into the bottom edge until it locks in.

3
Install the replacement bulb into the sockets by
aligning the pins of the bulb with the slot in the sockets. Using your thumbs
and forefinger, press the metal ends of the bulb socket and roll the bulb
forward until it rotates 90 degrees inside the socket, making contact between
the bulb pins and the socket contacts.
2
Replace only with a linear fluorescent bulb: GU9712L-T5-WHI (12.375 in.)
Bulb #F8T5; GU9724L-T5-WHI (22.625 in.) Bulb #F14T5;

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Your fixture is made from quality materials that will last for many, many years
with minimum care. You may want to periodically clean the fixture using a mild,
non-abrasive glass cleaner and soft cloth. Do NOT use solvents or cleaners
containing abrasive agents. When cleaning the fixture, make sure you have the
power turned off and do not spray liquid cleaner directly onto the bulb, socket,
ballast, or wiring.
