Pager Types
The three different pager types supported by the Wash Select II are described in the Table
below.

A simple 10-digit code is sent to describe the
site and problem #.
First 5 digits are the site number.
Second 5 digits are the problem #.
Example:

00001 is site #1
00008 denotes Paper is out on the thermal
receipt printer
Voice/Tone
Voice phones
Cell phones
Answering machines
Wash Select II will dial a phone then send a
series of tones to describe the site number and
severity of the problem. 1 beep is low priority,
3 beeps means the wash is down.
Example:
Beep…..….Beep, Beep, Beep
First beep denotes site #1
Next 3 beeps denote that the carwash is out of
service.
This message is repeated 3 times with a 4
second pause between messages.
Text (TAP)
Alphanumeric Pagers (text pagers).
Nextel Phones
PCS phones w/ text messaging
(AT&T, SprintPCS).
Note: some phone & paging services
charge extra for this service.
Plain English Text Messages are sent to your
pager or cell phone. Example:

Coin Hopper Jam/Empty
This feature uses the TAP protocol to connect
to a modem server with your pager service
provider. Compatible service provider list in
Numbers of this manual, or
contact your pager service provider to ask if
they support the TAP protocol.
