OPERATION
Switch Sequence: HIGH > OFF > MID > OFF > LOW > OFF
Hard Touch Switch - press switch until it clicks to turn the light OFF
between each mode.
Soft Touch Switch - when the light is on, press switch gently without
it clicking for quick-fire mode selection without turning OFF between
each mode.
[If left in any mode for over 3 seconds, the next press will turn off]
ADVICE & IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Only use high-quality Alkaline batteries or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. DO NOT USE rechargeable
LITHIUM batteries, these will damage your flashlight as they exceed rated voltage.
Do not use batteries of different brands or mix old and new batteries. Please recycle used batteries
responsibly.
Battery life is affected by different battery brands, different ambient temperatures and different
lighting modes.
If the batteries are installed and the flashlight does not work, try checking for the following: (1) Press
the switch button several times. (2) Check that the batteries are inserted the correct way around
according to polarity markings. (3) Check there is no debris on the contacts that might affect the
battery connection. (4) Check there is no water or dampness in the flashlight, if so, allow it to fully
dry out and try again.
Do not look directly at the LED.
Do not operate in direct sunlight or extreme temperature conditions (below -10⁰C or above 40⁰C).
The LED and aluminium head will become warm/hot when switched on; do not touch and do not
place face down on any surface – risk of fire!
Do not use the device if there is any visible damage to the housing, head, switch or lens.
Children under 12 years of age should only use the product under adult supervision.
Do not open, disassemble or attempt to modify the product; this will void the warranty and can be
dangerous. Improper use or modification is not covered under the warranty.
Take care not to let the lenses come into contact with hard/sharp objects, damage/scratches to the
lens will affect light output.
If you are not using the product for long periods of time (3 weeks or more), remove the batteries to
prevent battery leakage and battery depletion. Battery leaks are not covered under warranty.
Protect batteries from heat, intense sunlight, fire, water and moisture – danger of explosion!
If batteries are damaged, fluids can leak out. AVOID contact as this can lead to skin irritation and/or
burns. If skin contact happens, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.
Seek immediate medical assistance if battery fluid comes into contact with the eyes.
This product has a 1 year standard warranty (or extended to 2 years once registered online at WWW.
UNILITE.CO.UK) against manufacturing faults and defects. It does not cover normal wear and tear,
modifications, accidental damage or poor maintenance. Unilite warranties do not cover battery leaks
or the use of incorrect chargers and cables that can damage batteries.
Do not dispose of this device in normal household waste. It must be disposed of via an authorised
disposal centre or at your local waste disposal unit.
Please recycle or re-use packaging where possible.
Keep these instructions for future reference or for subsequent possessors.
