wristwatch care

Your Uniform Wares timepiece requires a certain amount
of care, the following guidelines will enable you to ensure
its reliability and protect its appearance over time.

cleaning

Please use a clean, lint free cloth with warm
water and if required a mild detergent diluted
in water to remove any dirt from the case.
To clean the lens please use a clean chamois cloth. Avoid
submerging the watch case in water.

battery

Your timepieces power source is a Swiss made cell which
has an estimated lifespan of 36 months. When your
battery requires replacing please refer to the Uniform
Wares website www.uniformwares.com/service for
information on battery replacement.

leather bracelets

Your leather bracelet is made from naturally tanned calf
leather which over time will develop an inherent, natural
patina that improves with age. Nevertheless we suggest
you limit the bracelets expose to moisture and avoid
complete submersion into water which will significantly
deteriorate the quality and feel of bracelet.
When a replacement bracelet is required, please refer to
the Uniform Wares website www.uniformwares.com for
information on replacements and fitting.

rubber bracelets

After long periods of use your rubber bracelet may require
cleaning . To do so please use a clean cloth and a mild
detergent diluted in warm water to clean the affected
areas. For more persistent marks use a soft bristle brush
to gently clean the affected areas with a detergent diluted
in warm water. Avoid submerging the watch case
in water.

water resistance

This watch is designed to withstand everyday use and
has a 5ATM water resistance rating. Exposure to high
humidity and light rain showers are acceptable however
you should avoid wearing the watch whilst showering,
swimming, diving or during any other activity where
it may subjected to abnormal water pressures or
environments where abnormal heat and moisture are
present (ie ‘Saunas’ or ‘Hot Tubs’). This combination may
have a negative affect on the seals and gaskets of the
timepiece.

condensation

If your timepiece experiences a sudden change in
temperature or pressure, a slight condensation may
appear under the crystal of your watch. This mist will
disappear by itself and will not affect the functioning
of your timepiece. If the condensation persists please
