12.Do  not  alter  the  damper/draft  adjustment  range  beyond  manufacturer’s  recommendations  for  increased

firing.  Attempts  to  achieve  output  rates  that  exceed  stove  design  specifications  can  result  in  permanent

damage  to  the  stove. As  with  any  wood  stove,  burn  and  maintain  moderate  fires.  Never  leave  the  stove

unattended on high burn rates. This may cause over-firing. Over-firing the stove may cause a house fire. If

the stove glows red, you are over-firing.

!

13.Do not modify the Kimberly™ wood stove heater in any way that is not consistent with the manufacturer’s

specifications.

!

14.Do  not  modify  the  chimney  in  any  way  that  is  not  consistent  with  NFPA-211  standards  (or  Canadian

equivalent).

!

15.Do not operate the Kimberly™ wood stove heater in a negative pressure condition. An exhaust fan or clothes

dryer can create a negative pressure area, causing smoke and toxic gases to seep out of the stove and into

the room.
