6.3. To prepare for storage
Remove and wipe down the HS-18 RAHD, all cables, and accessories with a lint-free cloth
soaked in clean water. Dry thoroughly. Ensure all connector covers are in place. Cover the
HS-18 with a maritime cover or place in a protective case. Store the unit in a dry location.
Note: These recommended preventive maintenance actions should be added to the
appropriate preventive maintenance schedule.
7. Troubleshooting
If at any point you believe your HS-18 RAHD is malfunctioning, please refer to the following
troubleshooting guide:
7.1. Inspect incoming Power and Data to the HS-18 RAHD
Using the pinout for the Power/Data cable, P/N 42222A-80X shown below, ensure AC voltage is
present on the expected pins of the circular connector. Verify that a good network connection is
provided to the HS-18 RAHD by testing the input for network access with a suitable computer or
network tester.
DO NOT connect the Power/Data cable to the HS-18 RAHD if AC Voltage is not present in
accordance with the provided pinout.
