Preparing the Lancing Device and Obtaining a Blood Sample
1. Hold the depth adjustable cap in one hand and hold hub in the other hand, twist off the depth adjustable cap (Fig.29).
2. Insert a new disposable lancet firmly into the lancet holder (Fig.30).
3. Twist off and set aside the protective cover of the disposable lancet (Fig.31).
4. Replace the depth adjustable cap (Fig.31).
5. Select a depth of penetration by rotating the top portion of the depth adjustable cap until the number matched to
the window (Fig.32).
