The flow rate of the heat transfer fluid is
adjusted initially via the speed settings on
the circulation pump and then via the throttle
[B] on the flow indicator.
The flow meter displays the set volume flow.
Operating position
The air that remains in the heat transfer fluid
collects in the air-jet [9] and can be dis-
charged manually via the bleed nipple [10].
To do this, push the hose provided onto the
sleeve of the ventilation nipple and collect
any ejected fluid in a suitable container.
The ventilation process should only be
carried out by trained, specialist person-
nel. Uncontrolled ventilation can result in
a decrease in pressure and malfunctions
of the solar energy system.
Caution! Risk of scalding!
The air that escapes during the ventilation
procedure and the heat transfer fluid itself
can reach temperatures in excess of 100
°C.
Retighten the nipple firmly. When venting,
check the system pressure. If necessary,
the solar system is to be refilled with heat
transfer fluid.
