1. Insert two AAA batteries into the tool by opening the battery cover on the

back of the tool.

If the Rx indicator lights up and the tool buzzes twice in short tones,

3.2 Unsuccessful receiving:

Note:

If the Tx indicator does not light up and buzz after 5

seconds, or the trigger function works intermittently,

the batteries may be low and need to be replaced.

1.

The aim is to quickly detect if the Tuson Retrofit TPMS Sensor (hereinafter referred to as: sensor)

is operating

normally or not.

2.

Use Tuson

TPMS sensor activation tool (hereinafter referred to as: tool) to trigger the sensor,

tire

deflation to get the signal, saving time for ID learning and checking the tire pressure value.

(shown in the receiver display Tuson TPMS Retrofit Kit).

tool receives the signal from the

sensor after trigger button is pressed

Select the sensor you would like to check for normal operation, tire

pressure or perform ID learning. (Note: If you are checking for tire

pressure or performing ID learning, you will need to go to the appropri-

ate receiver display screen on the Tuson TPMS Retrofit Kit to perform

these functions. Refer to the Tuson TPMS Retrofit Kit User Manual to

initiate the Tire Sensor ID Pairing to the Receiver in the receiver's

setting menu.)

then that indicates the trigger function is operating normally and the tool

has sent out a signal successfully.

that means that the tool has received the signal from the sensor

successfully. (Note: If you are checking the tire pressure on the

receiver, the corresponding TPMS sensor will populate a pressure

reading on the receiver display. If you are performing ID learning, the

sensor ID# will populate for selected tire location number on the

receiver display indicating that the sensor has been paired.)

If the tool buzzes in one long tone after 5 seconds, then that means

the tool did NOT receive the signal from the sensor.

Please repeat step 2, adjusting the angle and distance of the tool

relative to the sensor until the Rx indicator beeps twice.

2.2 Place the tool with the signal icon pointing toward the tire onto the

sidewall of the tire where the selected sensor is located.
