Decommissioning, disassembly and disposal

14 Decommissioning, disassembly and disposal

A barrier that is no longer usable should not be recycled as a
complete unit, but disassembled into individual components and
recycled according to material types. Non-recyclable materials
have to be disposed of in an environmental-friendly manner.



Decommissioning, disassembly and disposal of the barrier may
only be carried out by specialised staff.



Disassemble the barrier in reverse order from assembly.



The barrier has to be disposed of in accordance with the
respective country-specific regulations.
