4.9 Status indicators/diagnostic messages gateway
Diagnostics messages are indicated in two different ways:

via the LEDs

via the respective configuration software
4.9.1 Diagnostic messages via LEDs
Every BL67-gateway for PROFINET displays the following statuses via LEDs:

LEDs for the module bus communication (module bus-LEDs): GW and IOs

LEDs for the power supply monitoring (system voltage US1 / load voltage, US2 ).

2 LEDs for the PROFINET-communication (field bus-LEDs): SF, TP1/TP2 and BF .

IOs OFF No power supply of the CPU. Check the system power
supply at the gateway.
green Module bus running. If MS-ED is green: the
modules configured by the PROFINET IO
controller correspond to the modules in
the station -
green
flashing,
1 Hz Station is in the Force Mode of
the I/O-ASSISTANT. Deactivate the Force Mode
of the I/O-ASSISTANT.
red CPU not ready, voltage supply too low or
boot load necessary

possible causes:
– too many modules at the gateway
– short-circuit in connected module
– gateway hardware error.
– Check the system power
supply at the gateway and
the cabling.
– Unmount excessively
mounted modules.
– Replace the gateway, if
necessary.
red
flashing,
1 Hz The current and configured module list do
not match but the data exchange
proceeds as normal. no data exchange
red
flashing, 4
Hz No communication
via the module bus. – At least one module has to
be plugged and has to be
able to communicate with
the gateway.
red / green
flashing,
1 Hz The current and configured module list do
not match but the data exchange
proceeds as normal. – Check the physical BL67-
station for pulled or new
but not planned modules.
