Be sure to use only the following specific electrical
connections that are compatible with the Tumi
power adaptor:

Any 100 –120 volt or 200 –240 volt 50/60Hz AC
wall outlet
•
12 volt, negative-grounded, DC cigarette lighter
•
Many airline in-seat power systems (note that
compatibility depends on the specification for the
airline’s systems).

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Please read all instructions in the user manual before
using the adaptor and follow the warnings and instructions
marked on the product.
The Tumi adaptor offers important safety features
including over voltage, temperature and short circuit
protection. However, as with many electrical
appliances, certain parts may be electrically alive even
when the switch is off.
To reduce risk of electric shock, fire or injury, please:

Remove the adaptor from electrical source before
cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners on
this product. Clean the unit with a slightly damp
cloth and make sure it is dry before attaching it to
an electrical source.

Do not use, place or store the adaptor where it can
fall into water or near water.
•
Do not use while bathing.
•
Never obstruct the grooves located on the case; they
provide ventilation and protect the unit from overheating.
•
Do not place the adaptor in a built-in installation, or
on a soft, upholstered surface such as a bed, sofa
or carpeting.
•
Be sure that the type of power source you are using
matches the requirements for the power source
listed on the label.
