Custom Calibrations

The Response Factor is determined from the same gravimetric
sample taken to determine the PCF. That gravimetric sample should
be further analyzed using an appropriate method in order to
determine what percentage of the total sampled dust consists of a
particular hazard. This percentage represents the Response Factor
portion of the User Calibration Factor. Due to the dependence of the
response concentration upon the photometric response of the
instrument the Response Factor is always associated with a particular
Photometric Calibration Factor.
Using TrakPro™ Data Analysis Software to
Update User Calibration Factors
With the release of version 5.2.0 of the TrakPro™ Data Analysis
Software, it is now possible to have the software package calculate
and update the User Calibration Factor directly. Refer to the
TrakPro™ software manual for more information.
