High-Speed Sensor Unit

In systems with a multiple of eight measuring places, further Calorimetry Slave Control Units are
included in the system to connect up the additional calorimetry cages.
11.1.1.3. CaloSys Module including multiple Calorimetry Control Units
This CaloSys module includes Calorimetry Master Control Unit and Calorimetry Slave Control Units.
The number of O2/CO2 sensor pairs (devices) per Calorimetry Slave Control Unit could vary -
depending on the CaloSys module configuration.
In the example (Fig. 14), an 8-place system includes a Calorimetry Master Control Unit containing
one O2/CO2 sensor pair (i.e. one device) and one Calorimetry Slave Control Unit containing three
O2/CO2 sensor pairs (i.e. three devices). Calorimetry cages are replaced by CaloTreadmills.
