Prepare Equipment
****WARNING: Never try to fill the heating system if the water is hot or if the heater
is on
1.
Make sure the heater is powered OFF and has completely cooled down.
2.
Get a large barrel/bucket and place it near the heating system. Also get another small
container used to help bleed air/water from the system.
3.
Fill the large barrel with 10-12 gallons of distilled water.
4.
Get a 1/2 hp sump pump, attach a garden hose to it and place it in the barrel

Find the heater manifold and look for the 2 fill ports.(hose bibs)
2.
Connect the hose to
Fill Port #1
(on the left)
3.
Close the ball valve (
Valve 1
) directly in between the 2 fill ports.
