6.1
Formatting the memory
For optimal use of the internal memory or a memory card, these must first be
formatted before being used.
N.B.:
When you format the memory or the memory card all data will be
deleted from the memory or card. This includes protected images.
N.B.:
The (optional) memory card cannot be formatted when this is write
protected (Lock).
1.
Switch on the camera and press the display button
.
2.
Press the “MENU” button. See Figure 3.

Select [Delete], using the “
Ç
” button or the “

“ button.
4.
Press the “OK” button.
5.
Select [Format memory] or [Format card], using the “
Ç
” button or the “

button.
6.
Press the “OK” button.
7.
Select [Yes], using the “
Ç
” button or the “
È
“ button.
8.
Press the “OK” button. The memory card will now be formatted.
