4.4.1.2. Other user's camera
Use ⁠ Far End button on the remote control to switch to the other user's camera (the message ⁠ Far-end
camera & DTMF will appear at the top of the screen). After that, you can control it like your own.
Saving presets is unavailable to far-end PTZ cameras.
Tip
To control other users' PTZ cameras using the control panel, go to
⁠
Conference
control → Participants .
4.4.2. Content Sharing
To share content during a [video call](#page3- how-to-call) or
⁠
conference :
1. Choose a content capture device using
⁠
Menu button on the remote control. You can
⁠
choose it in
settings as well before the conference.
2. When choosing to play a file from a US B drive, you will see a window with its contents opening
where you can choose the desired file using the navigation buttons.
3. A new video window with a preview of chosen content will appear on the endpoint screen.
4. To start streaming, press ⁠ Share button on the remote control. All connected users will see your
shared content in a separate video window.
5. When sharing, use the following buttons on the remote control:
Navigation buttons : Switch between pages of a PDF file or move around a zoomed image
Zoom buttons : Control the image size of your streamed content
Tip
You can share content using the control panel in
⁠
Conference control section.
4.4.3. Recording
To start recording an ongoing conference, press ⁠ Rec button on the remote control . In this case,
icon will be displayed at the bottom of the endpoint screen. To stop recording, press
⁠
Rec button again.
4.5. How to Use Saved Addresses
4.5.1. Address Book
In the ⁠ main menu choose ⁠ Address book . A list of addresses will open.
To call a user, choose him/her and press ⁠ OK or ⁠ Dial on the remote control. If there are many users in
the list, start typing the username you need at the top, and the list will be automatically filtered.
To edit a saved contact, press ⁠ Call history opposite its name. You will see a user's personal card
opening where you can change his/her name, SIP, H.323, and email addresses.
To add users or clear the entire list of addresses, use the corresponding buttons below the search field.
Tip
You can transfer address books between endpoints using
⁠
import/export in the web interface .
