12.4 Installation location
The axial fan may need to be removed for it to be main-
tained and repaired. The following conditions must be
maintained at the installation location:

In the case of plenum installation, clearance of the
following size to the side of the axial fan: (1) fan
nominal size x 0.5 (2) fan nominal size + 1 m
The axial fan must be accessible without hindrance
at all times.
Sufficient space of this size must be provided in the
case of roof assembly.
Space for a mounting frame must be kept free
above and around the axial fan.

The minimum distance between the axial fan and
the walls and neighbouring axial fans must be at
least 0.5 x the fan size.
