Error messages
The following error messages can be indicated on the
display (15):
Message Cause Troubleshooting
Air pressure too low The fan does not run Restart the device
and check the fan
for proper
functioning
Filter dirty The air filter might
be contaminated Replace the filter
Overheating
protection room
temperature The adjusted room
air temperature has
been exceeded Switch the device
off and allow the
room to cool down
Overheating
protection motor The device is
overheating Disconnect the
device from the
mains and allow to
cool down
Sensor fault Defective
temperature sensor Switch the device
off and check the
temperature sensors
Maintenance
Trotec electric heaters are designed for long hours of operation
with minimum maintenance effort. Safe operation of the device
requires all built-in components, especially the safety
temperature limiter (STB), to be checked and cleaned
after 6 months at the latest or after every 4,000 operating hours
as well as all damaged components to be replaced.
Prior to cleaning the interior, protect the fan and further
electrical components from water ingress with appropriate
means.
