Seat lock
The seat lock is located on the rear
fender, below the brake/tail light unit. To
remove the seat, insert the ignition key
into the seat lock and turn it
counterclockwise while pressing down
on the rear of the seat. This will release
the seat from its lock and allow it to be
slid rearwards. If equipped with heated
seats, disconnect the heated seat’s
electrical
connector
for
complete
removal from the motorcycle.
To reinstall the seat, reconnect the
heated seat’s electrical connector (if
equipped), engage the seat's two
brackets under the loops on the
subframe and press down at the rear to
engage in the seat lock.

retained and supported once the
passenger seat is correctly installed.
Never ride the motorcycle with the

as the front seat will not be secure
and may move.
