Headlight Bulb Replacement
The complete headlight unit must be
r e m o v e d t o g a i n a c c e s s f o r b u l b
replacement.
Remove the seat(s).
Disconnect the battery, negative
(black) lead first.
Remove the cockpit.
Unscrew the nuts securing the
headlight unit to the support bracket
and release the unit.
Disconnect the multi-pin electrical
connector from the bulb to be
replaced and remove the rubber
cover.
Detach the wire bulb retainer from the
clip. It is not necessary to undo the
screw.
Remove the bulb from the headlight
unit.
Installation is the reverse of the
removal procedure.

process has been completed.
Premature battery reconnection
becomes hot during use.
Always allow sufficient time for the
bulb to cool before handling.
Avoid touching the glass part of the
bulb. If the glass is touched or gets
dirty, clean with alcohol before
re-use.
Position Lamp Bulb Replacement
The position lamp is fitted to the cockpit
above the headlight aperture. Remove the
cockpit panel to gain access for bulb
replacement.
