Setting & Synchronisation of the SSC Date & Time
The SSC contains a real time clock with an on board CMOS battery back up. When connected the
time and date currently set within the SSC is reported at the bottom right of the display as circled
above.
As this time and date is used by the Genesis display GUI in the naming convention of any recorded
log files and also as the system may well be used in differing time zones around the world it may
well be necessary to adjust the current time and date setting within the SSC. This is achieved by
syncing the SSC to the local time and date of the connected PC or laptop.
Select ‘File’ and then click
on ‘Sync SSC to Local PC
Time’.
The App will then report
that the SSC time is now
synchronised to the local
PC.
This can be confirmed by
noting the adjusted time
in the bottom right hand
corner.
