Operation

SeaKing Profiling Sonar

Roll Setup

In this dialog, there are several settings to be configured:

Centre of Rotation 

X

, 'Y'

Sets  the  X,Y  co-ordinate  position  offset

which  is  relative  to  the  Profiler  display

datum (= origin 0,0).

Rotation Offset 

R

A Roll Sensor alignment offset to correct

for any slew that may result when the Roll

Sensor is mounted off-centre.

Show Position Indicator

Toggles  display  of  the 

Centre 

of

Rotation

 position indicator ( O ) on the

Profiler display.

Overlay

This will display an overlay on the Profiler screen which can be used to mark/

highlight a particular area or object in the area. The Overlay can also be used

as a Gating Zone for the Gate Alarm function.

ID

Up to 4 overlays are selectable (IDs = 1,2,3 & 4).

Style

Is the desired shape; Circle (or ellipse), Rectangle

and Triangle are the available options.

Size

Width & Height of the Overlay.

Position

X & Y Position of the Overlay on the Profiler screen.
