USING THE JACKS TO ATTACH THE MPS 350 TO THE TRUCK:
The MPS 350 is supplied with three screw-type Jacks that can be used to position the MPS 350 to the
truck.
!
DANGER:
Do not operate the MPS 350 near overhead power lines. If the MPS 350 comes
into contact or close proximity with a power line or there is arcing,
STAY
in the truck cab.
Keep away from any metal parts on the MPS 350. Do not let anyone get close to the truck.
Do not attempt to jump from the truck. The Power Company must disconnect the power
before you can leave the cab.
Know the overhead clearance of overhead obstructions.
NEVER
drive the MPS 350 under
any overhead obstruction without knowing the clearance height. Failure to follow this warning
could cause damage to the MPS 350 and may result in serious personal injury or death.

WARNING:
Ensure that no one is near, under or behind the MPS 350. Failure to follow this
warning could result in serious injury or death to the operator and/or bystanders.

CAUTION:
Do not use hands or feet to lift or support the MPS 350. Always use Jack
supports provided. Always keep feet clear of frame when in operation and during
maintenance activities.

Confirm the truck is on a flat level ground.

Inform the truck driver that the MPS 350 is going to be installed, repaired, operated, or adjusted.
Block the wheels to ensure that the truck does not move, and do not start the truck.
Remove the keys from the ignition of the truck. Place signs on the truck that it is being serviced
– DO NOT START ENGINE.

Roll the MPS 350 toward the truck. (See Figure 33.0 Below) The Jack wheels allow proper
lateral positioning. This step may require more than one person to steer the MPS 350 while it’s
on the Jacks.
