Ethernet Connection
1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the EASyPLUS RJ-45 port to the network.
2. On the
Main tab, enter the IP Address and TCP Port Number of the EASyPLUS, as
directed by your IT administrator. Unless instructed by your IT administrator, enter
the default TCP port number of
59911
.
3. Click the Disconnect button.
4. Click the Select COM Port button.
5. On the pop-up
Select Type of
Communications Port window, select
the radio button corresponding to
Ethernet then click the Accept button.
Connections made via the EASyPLUS’s Ethernet port do not
require that the “Connect” button be clicked; the program
automatically connects and disconnects to the TCP port on an
as-needed basis.
