Your mist ring connects to a standard garden hose and is constructed of waterproof
materials that will have a long service life. The nozzles emit mist droplets ranging in size
from 30 to 100 microns (very small!) and can become clogged from ordinary particles in
the water. Included with your Mist Ring is a water filter, the Fogco Calcium
Inhibitor Filter No. 10109. This filter can be ordered from Triangle Engineering or may be
ordered from Fogco (fogco.com)
The Mist Ring attaches to the front (discharge side) of the fan with the plastic ties
provided. SEE DRAWING ON REVERSE SIDE OF THIS PAGE. Note that all nozzles
face outward away from the fan.
1. Place the first nozzle at the top of the fan as shown in the drawing, secure with
plastic tie provided.
2. Along the left side of the fan as shown in the drawing, secure the other nozzles.
3. The filter attaches to the threaded green connector at the end of the Mist Ring.
Follow the instructions on the filter for flushing before the first use.
Whenever your Mist Ring is not in use, the water hose should be disconnected from the
filter in order that residual water may drain out. If the water is allowed to evaporate
in the nozzle it may lead to clogging.
