Notes on the warranty

TREKSTOR GmbH grants a manufacturer's warranty to the buyer of a TREKSTOR

GmbH product bought and used in Germany, but not to a second buyer. This is

in addition to the statutory rights to which the buyer is entitled from the seller

and does not restrict those rights. This includes common defects caused by the

production process. The validity period of the manufacturer's warranty is 12

months, except in the case of batteries where it is six months. It starts from the

date of the purchase invoice from the specialist dealer. In the event of a warranty

claim, the buyer has the right to rectification. The manufacturer's guarantee does

not apply to: accessories, parts subject to normal wear and tear, and products that

are to be leased or rented commercially to a large number of people. Improper use

or maintenance of the product, or use for a purpose for which it was not intended,

e.g. by independent and unauthorized modifications to the product (in particular

by installing third-party firmware that was not approved by TREKSTOR GmbH or

modifications to the hardware of the product), can lead to the loss of the warranty.

Further information on the warranty conditions and how to make a claim in the

event of a case covered by the warranty can be found at:
