Switching on the SurfTab
Press the on/off switch for approximately 2–3 seconds to switch on the SurfTab.
A configuration assistant will appear. Follow the configuration assistant
instructions to set up your SurfTab.

During the setup process, the configuration assistant will prompt you to sign in
with your Microsoft account. If you do not yet have a Microsoft account, please
set one up at this point.
As soon as the device has been set up (and every time it is subsequently
switched on and booted up), the lock screen appears. Drag the lock screen
upwards with your fingertip to unlock the screen.

If your SurfTab is password-protected, you must then enter the password.
