Do not allow the cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it well away from hot objects and
naked flames. Never remove the plug from the wall socket by pulling on the cord. Always take
firm hold of the plug and then pull.

This appliance is intended exclusively for polishing shoes.
•
Do not take your eyes off the appliance while using it.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.

Always pull the plug from the wall socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning it.

As long as the plug is in the wall socket the appliance is live.

Switch off the appliance before you pull the plug from the wall socket.
•
Never carry the appliance by the cord.

Do not use any extra attachments that were not delivered with the appliance.

Do not place the appliance next to hot appliances (e.g., a hot pate or oven)

Make sure the electric cord does not come in contact with hot components while the
appliance is in use.
Preparations before using for the first time
•
Check to make sure no parts are missing. If any parts are missing, contact your supplier.
•
Remove all the packing material.
•
Clean the outside of the machine with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
•
Position the shoe-polishing machine so that the plug is accessible at all times.
Remark
This model is intended for home use. The motor was designed to operate for 5 minutes and then
switch off for 5 minutes. If the motor overheats, it will switch off automatically. When this happens let
the appliance cool off for at least 15 minutes before resuming use.
