1.4.3. Silencing the Audible Alarm
The device has the following options to disable the sound alarm:
Immediate temporary silencing - press the alarm off symbol on the touch screen (Fig. 1-8,
position 19) or the "
" button on the front panel of the device. Flashing symbol
appears
on the screen and all sound alarms turns off for 2 minutes, after which it is automatically re-
stored (preschedule unlocking can be done by pressing the same button again),
Silencing the audible alarm by a separate parameter
– press the symbol
near the re-
quired parameter on the touch screen. After pressing the symbol will be replaced by
,
which means that the sound alarm for this parameter is disabled:
Complete silencing -
set the parameters “Alarm volume” and “Techn. alarms" to the 0%
state (p. 1.3.7). The red symbol on the screen indicated the complete silence of the audible
alarms (see Fig. 1-8, position 19). It cannot be disabled by pressing it.
For the patient safety, it is strongly not recommended to completely disable
the audible alarm.
Disable the audible signal of a technical malfunction - press the button
on the front pan-
el of the device. The signal will be blocked until the next technical malfunction appears.
Disabling of the audible alarm does not influence on text messages and
light alarm.
