The device is controlled using the touch screen. Press the screen to change the operation mode
of the output window or to change the parameter. A more detailed description of the control of
the device using the touch screen is described in the following sections.
1.3.3. Control Buttons
Button "123" is intended for the fast on / off of a digital display mode (see p. 3.2).
The "CAPNO" button is designed for quick on / off of the capnograph. If the capnometry graph is
disabled (in the capnometry window there is a corresponding message about the reason), you
can press this button to turn it on. Pressing this button again will turn off the capnograph and
display the
message “OFF BY USER".
If
you don’t need to use the capnograph, it is recommended to turn it off by
pressing the "CAPNO" button in order to save the resource of its elements.
The device also provides for automatic shutdown of the capnograph after 1
hour
from the last registration of stable patient’s breathing, with the mes-
sage "OFF: NOT USED"
The "NIBP" button is intended for a one-time start of blood pressure measurement in manual
mode. In automatic mode this button is used for the initial start of the blood pressure measure-
ment process. Pressing this button again in all cases immediately interrupts the blood pressure
measurement.
The “FREEZE” button is intended for stopping (“freezing”) of the graphical curves on the device
screen, while the flashing symbol
is indicated. Pressing this button again resumes the
sweep. Also this button is used to record fragments of ECG waveforms in manual mode.
In a “FREEZE” mode you cannot view trends and saved waveforms, enter
the menu of general parameters, the calculators and the service menu.
The button "
" is intended for short-term (for 2 minutes) fast disabling of all sound alarms,
while a blinking symbol
appears on the screen, and above it
– there is a time (in seconds)
remaining until the end of silencing and restoring of the signals. Press this button again ahead
of schedule to restore the sound alarm. In case of audible signal of a technical malfunction,
pressing the button also deactivates it until the next technical malfunction appears etc.
The intended use of the "F" button is programmed at the factory before delivery of the device
(optional).
1.3.4. Manipulator (encoder)
Encoder is a special multifunctional manipulator intended to modify digital parameters (see Fig.
1-2, position 11), turning the knob of which increases / decreases the values of digital parame-
ters depending on the direction of rotation. Pressing the encoder knob in the axial direction trig-
gers the confirmation of the parameter change.
When working with the encoder, do not apply excessive force to push and
turn it.
