OB/GYN Stretcher Placenta Basin
The placenta basin is located below the foot section, between the foot supports
and is easily removed for cleaning.
Removing the Placenta Basin
• Grasp the placenta basin on both sides.
• Lift upward and then pull outward to release the placenta basin from its
secured position.
• Remove the placenta basin from the stretcher.
Replacing the Placenta Basin
• Grasp the placenta basin on both sides.
• Angle the placenta basin downward, and then slide the placenta basin
straight into its secured position by hooking the back edge under the foot
section shroud.
• Ensure that the placenta basin is stable by pressing downward.
OB/GYN Stretcher Gliding Litter
The gliding litter allows the attendant to position the patient by grasping the
foot supports and gliding the carriage, forward and backward, to the desired
exam or procedural position without “scooting” the patient.
NOTE:
The foot section must be removed or in the stored position before activating
the gliding litter.
WARNING:
When the stretcher is occupied, ensure that the siderails are in the full
upright and locked position before gliding the patient platform. Failure to
do so could result in personal injury.
WARNING:
Ensure that the channel area is clear of all personnel and obstructions
before gliding the patient platform. Failure to do so could result in
personal injury and equipment damage.
