Reduced Pedal Pumping
1. Press the pump pedal 28 times (24 times for the PC-100/PC-200 stretcher)
to raise the stretcher to the high position. The stretcher rises to the high
position.

Ensure that the pump linkage shoulder bolt (A) and nut (B) are
in place, and check the nut torque of 40 + 8 in-lb (4.6 + 0.9 N·m)
(see figure 2-5 on page 2-40). If this solves the problem, go to
“Final Actions” on page 2-32. Otherwise, continue to step 2.

2. Another part of the stretcher interferes with the pump pedal weldments.
