Rate conversion 

The M/GE-PSW-xX-01 media converters allow the following connections: 

 

10Mb/s devices on a 10Base-T legacy copper network to 1000Mb/s devices on a 1000Base SX/LX 
Gigabit Ethernet fiber network. 

 

100Mb/s devices on a 100Base-T legacy copper network to 1000Mb/s devices on a 1000Base SX/LX 
Gigabit Ethernet fiber network.
