The
Mylar
bag
prevents
your
RV
Toll
Pass
transponder
from
being
read
by
toll
equipment
in
your
local
area.
Your
RV
Toll
Pass
transponder
is
intended
for
convenient
and
cost
effective
interagency
travel
outside
your
local
area.
The
monthly
fee
is
waived
for
months
when
the
transponder
is
not
in
use
and
no
toll
charges
are
incurred.
For
local
driving,
you
should
use
a
transponder
issued
by
your
local
toll
authority.
When
a
local
transponder
is
in
use,
you
should
store
your
RV
Toll
Pass
transponder
in
the
Mylar
bag.
Metallized
Windshield
Some
vehicle
windshields
contain
a
metallic
treatment
that
could
prevent
an
interior
windshield
‐
mounted
transponder
from
working
correctly.
This
should
not
be
an
issue
on
motor
homes
since
they
typically
do
not
have
this
type
of
windshield.
Some
tow
vehicles
could
have
metalized
windshields.

there
