Charge Refrigerant
Principle:
The outdoor unit has been fi lled with certain volume of refrigerant when it leaves the factory, but
it can't meet the volume required by the lengthened pipe. Therefore refrigerant must be added
additionally strictly in accordance with the actual length of the refrigerant pipe during site installation.
Operation procedures:
Shut off the compound pressure gauge, remove the vacuum pump, mount the fi lling tank well
•
and connect the gas tube. Exhaust the air, connect the joints of gas tube of the fi lling tank and
put the tank on the scale, with its mouth downward.
Set the volume to be fi lled on the electronic scale, open the valve of fi lling tank and compound
•
pressure gauge in turn, to fi ll the refrigerant into the system. After it reaches the certain amount,
shut off the valve of fi lling tank immediately, then remove the different connecting pipes.
Notes:
During fi lling, the R410A refrigerant tank should be reversed (it is not necessary to reverse the
•
refrigerant tank with siphon), as shown in the following fi gure:

Note:
Prior to installation of indoor and outdoor units, please confi rm that the added R410A refrigerant
won't exceed the upper limit, otherwise the installation location should be chosen again.
