3. Ground the outdoor unit per
local code requirements.
4. Provide flexible electrical
conduit whenever vibration
transmission may create a
noise problem within the
structure.
5. Remove the outdoor unit
terminal cover (Figure 12).
6. Route the connection cable
through the cable entry
bushing and strain relief and
up to the terminal block.
7. Insert the end of the cable
wires into the terminal block
connectors as shown on the
unit wiring diagram.
8. Tighten the terminal block
connector screws (Torque:
7-12 kgf - cm).
Caution
Insert the connection cable
wires into the terminal block
firmly. Incorrect insertion may
cause a safety problem.
9. Replace the outdoor unit
terminal cover.

• Do not allow the electrical
wires inside the compressor
compartment to come in
contact with refrigerant pipes
compressor or moving parts.
• Wiring and grounding must
comply with NATIONAL and
LOCAL CODES.
• The manufacturer will have
no responsibility for the
problems caused by
unauthorized change in the
internal wiring.
• Each country has their own
field wiring rules and
regulations. Be sure the
installation complies with
local electrical codes.
1. Check the unit nameplate for
electrical rating. Be sure
wiring is according to local
codes and wiring system
diagram.
2. A separate power supply
disconnect and a circuit
breaker for overcurrent
protection should be
provided in the external
power supply line.
