Procedures!
The maintenance and Trouble Shooting procedures recommended in this section
of the manual could result in exposure to electrical, mechanical or other
potential safety hazards. Always refer to the safety warnings provided
throughout this manual concerning these procedures. When possible,
disconnect all electrical power including remote disconnects and discharge all
motor start/run capacitors before servicing. Follow proper lockout/tagout
procedures to ensure the power can not be inadvertently energized. When
necessary to work with live electrical components, have a qualified licensed
electrician or other individual who has been trained in handling live electrical
components perform these tasks. Failure to follow all of the recommended
safety warnings provided, could result in death or serious injury.

and Flammable
Vapors!
Exposure to hazardous gases from fuel substances have been shown to cause
cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Improper installation,
adjustment, alteration, service or use of this product could cause flammable
mixtures. To avoid hazardous gases and flammable vapors follow proper
installation and set up of this product and all warnings as provided in this
manual. Failure to follow all instructions could result in death or serious injury.

General
The owner’s representative or the equipment operator should be present during
start-up to receive instructions on care and adjustments of heaters.
•
Inspection of unit for damage and proper assembly
•
Electrical service and unit voltage requirements are the same
•
Gas piping is correct and vent lines are installed
•
Blower runs free in housing
•
Blower motor runs free
•
Check electrical connections for tightness at all terminals in the control panel
•
Check wheels and pulley set screws, check bearing locking collars
•
System duct work installed correctly and per local code
•
Remote panel and thermostat(s) installed
