Joystick
•
This is used to slew the searchlight at a variable rate. This
is only available when the system is deployed.

Master Power ON/OFF
Switch.
•
This is used to turn main system power on and off
(depending on installed system configuration). The switch is
a push ON – push OFF type.
•
When turned on, the grip hand controller LEDs will flash and
the seven segment display will alternately flash En or Er,
then An or Ar and starts a count up from 0 to 4 as the
system initialises. During this time the azimuth and
elevation direction of travel may be reversed (refer to

Deploy Switch
•
This momentary pushbutton switch is used to deploy the
searchlight and will move the gimbal to a preset position.
•
The unit status LED will flash while the gimbal moves to the
deploy preset position after which the LED will remain
illuminated.
NOTE: If the joystick is moved during the deploy
process the gimbal will respond and not
complete moving to the preset (DEPLOY)
position.
•
All functions are available after deploying the system even if
DEPLOY is interrupted by joystick movement.
