3.10.1.1
Current input
The circles at the top of the display represent the TRAQC-8
electrical connectors, physically located at the right hand site of
the display. As indicated, the two on the right hand side of the
instrument shall be used to feed the mA signal to the TRAQC-8:
the bottem connector for the PLUS and the other one for the
MINUS. As described in the display, first apply the lowest input
value in mA, and press ‘ENTER’
key (F1) when the signal has
stabilized. The instrument will store this value in memory.
Now the TRAQC-8 will show the next display, requesting the
operator t
o enter the “actual input value”. Using the ‘ARROW’
keys,
‘UP and ‘DOWN’ for altering the digits and ‘LEFT’ and
‘RIGHT’ for selecting the digits of the value which has to be
altered. Enter the number of milliamps that were applied in the
previous step and
press ‘ENTER’
key (F1) to confirm.
The procedure will continue with the “highest input value” to be applied to the instrument,
followed by again entering the number of milliamps, as applied for the highest value.
After entering all milliamp. input data, the TRAQC-8
will confirm at the last ‘ENTER’
key (F1)
with a long beep, and automatically revert to the “adjust instrument inputs” menu.
The TRAQC-8 Milliampère measuring range is limited to the maximum voltage/current.
The maximum voltage/current that may be applied is 30 Volts and/or 24 mA: do not
apply current in excess of these values, as it will result in damage the TRAQC-8
measuring system!
