This 2-Stage telescopic hydraulic
TradeQuip "Made for the Trade"
Transmission Lifter offers a wide range of versatility
designed to help increase workshop productivity. Designed for use with passenger car transmissions, the universal mounting
cradle provides a wide fore and aft tilt range. A wide base is enhanced by four heavy-duty steel swivel castors and both a ring
handle and a pull bar for easier manoeuvring throughout the workshop. Has a manual operated hydraulic system with smooth
hydraulic lift and descent. The foot operated pump and release valve keep the mechanic’s hands free during use. The height
adjustability of this telescoping transmission lifter makes it great for any transmission installation or removal.

Bleed Hydraulic Transmission Lifter:
•
It is recommended, as a regular maintenance requirement, to bleed your hydraulic transmission lifter weekly. Not purging
your hydraulic transmission lifter will result in poor performance of the unit as well as reduced life on seals. Please consult
your user manual.
•
If it is a brand new hydraulic transmission lifter, the hydraulic foot pump may not provide a full stroke or the ram feels
spongy, there is excess air trapped in hydraulic system. You will need to bleed the hydraulic system.
How to bleed your hydraulic transmission lifter:
•
When equipment efficiency drops, users should bleed air from hydraulic system.
•
Bleed the hydraulic system to eliminate any air in the system by pushing down the release foot pedal (13) down and
pumping the lift foot pedal (14) 15-20 times.
•
With the transmission lifter in the lowest position remove the air vent screw to check the hydraulic oil level. If it is not
adequate, add high quality hydraulic jack oil as necessary. Insert and tighten the air vent screw. Then bleed away air from
the hydraulic system.
•
Leave the transmission lifter for one hour to allow the oil to settle before repeating bleed.
•
To ensure best performance and longer equipment life replace the complete hydraulic oil at least once a year.
•
With the transmission lifter in its lowest position remove the air vent screw, lay the transmission lifter on its side and
drain the oil into a suitable container.
•
Ensure that no dirt gets into the system.
•
Set the transmission lifter in its level upright position, fill with approved hydraulic jack oil.
•
Replace the air vent screw and bleed away air from hydraulic system as described above.
•
It is recommended that an annual inspection be conducted by a qualified technician.
