In the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box, click the

tab, select
Internet Protocol Version 4
, and then

Properties

IP address automatically

Obtain DNS server address

Windows XP DHCP Settings
To configure a Windows XP computer for DHCP addressing, follow
these steps:
