11.1 SDO Error codes
In the case of an error (SDO response CCD = 0x80) the data field contains a 4-byte
error code. By the measuring system the following error codes are supported:
Error code
Meaning
Remedy
0x0503 0000
Toggle bit not alternated.
An error occurred at segmented transmission of a SDO
- repeat the procedure
0x0504 0001
Not valid or unknown
commando code (CCD)
List of valid CCD´s see Table 3 on page 80.
0x0601 0001
Attempt to read a write only
object.
False Command Code (CCD), only write commands
(0x2x) are permitted, see Table 3 on page 80.
0x0601 0002
Attempt to write a read only
object.
False Command Code (CCD), only read commands
(0x4x) are permitted, see Table 3 on page 80.
0x0602 0000
Object does not exist in the
object dictionary.
Valid objects see Table 8 and Table 9
on page 107 and 117.
0x0604 0042
The number and length of the
objects to be mapped would
exceed PDO length
Check
-
Mapping objects ≤ 8 byte data length per TPDO
-
Number of mapping objects ≤ 2 per TPDO
0x0607 0010
Data type does not match,
length of service parameter
does not match.
The used Command Code (CCD) does not match with
the data length of the transferred object. Compare
Command Codes on page 80 with the objects; see
Table 8 and Table 9 on page 107
and 117.
0x0607 0012
Data type or length of service
parameter to big
The used Command Code (CCD) is longer than the
data length of the transferred object. Compare
Command Codes on page 80 with the objects; see
Table 8 and Table 9 on page 107
and 117.
0x0607 0013
Data type or length of service
parameter to small
The used Command Code (CCD) is shorter than the
data length of the transferred object. Compare
Command Codes on page 80 with the objects; see
Table 8 and Table 9 on page 107
and 117.
0x0609 0011
Sub-index does not exist.
Check which sub-indices the corresponding object
supports.
0x0609 0030
Invalid parameter value
(download only)
Check the valid value of the object
0x0609 0031
Transmitted value of
parameter too high.
Check the valid range of the object
0x0609 0032
Transmitted value of
parameter too low.
Check the valid range of the object
0x0800 0020
Data cannot be transferred or
stored to the application
Wrong signature written when storing/restoring the
parameters, see object 1010h on page 111.
0x0800 0021
In case of the local control,
the data cannot be transferred
or stored to the application
Wrong Mode Selection, see Object 2000h: Mode
selection TR / CiA DS-406 on page 118
or
wrong state for the Object 1F51h: Program control on
page 115.
0x0800 0024
No data available
Indication that no more errors are existing at read
access on object 1003h sub-index 1, see page 109.
