It will take a long time to restore the configuration. Please wait without any operation.

After the configuration is restored successfully, the device will reboot to make the configura-
tion change effective.
The following example shows how to restore the configuration file named file1 from the
TFTP server with IP address 192.168.0.100.
Switch>enable
Switch#copy tftp startup-config ip-address
192.168.0.100
filename
file1
Start to load user config file......
Operation OK! Now rebooting system......
4.2.3 Backing up the Configuration File
Follow these steps to back up the current configuration of the switch in a file:
Step 1
enable
Enter privileged mode.
Step 2
copy startup-config tftp ip-address
ip-addr
filename
name
Back up the configuration file to TFTP server.
ip-addr
: Specify the IP address of the TFTP server. Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are
supported.
name
: Specify the name of the configuration file to be saved.
The following example shows how to backup the configuration file named file2 from TFTP
server with IP address 192.168.0.100.
Switch>enable
Switch#copy startup-config tftp ip-address
192.168.0.100
filename
file2
Start to backup user config file......
Backup user config file OK.
