(c)
Locate and remove the blue 22 pin connector
located at the driver side cowl area. (Fig. 2-2)
(d)
Install a T-Tap to the orange wire (pin #1) on
the 22 pin connector, about 1 inch from the
connector end. (Fig. 2-2)

Using pliers, make sure that T-Tap is
snapped in correctly.
(e)
Lift up the driver side door weather stripping.
(Fig. 2-3)
(f)
Locate the crescent shaped depression on the
pinch weld. Clean the pinch weld surface
and apply a thin piece of foam tape over the
depression. (Fig. 2-4)
(g)
Installation Temperature
(1)
The Door Sill Protector and Sill surface
temperature must be between 60° F and
90° F at time of actual installation.
(2)
If necessary, a blow drier can be used to
heat the part and surface to correct
installation temperature.
(h)
Clean the Door Sill Surface
(1)
Clean the rocker panel surface with a
mild, water based, solvent free all
purpose cleaner and a clean, non-scratch
cloth.
(2)
Surface must be free from all
contaminants (plastic protectants, oily -
substances, dirt, etc.)
