Hardware Installation

If you access Internet by 3G, please comply with step 1 & 5;   if you access internet by ADSL, please comply with step 1 - 4 as below.

1. Please disconnect the power adapter and all cables during 

    thunderstorm weather;

2. Keep away from heat source and keep well ventilated;

3. Please pay attention to the waterproofing and moisture-proof 

    when storing, transporting and running.

4. The power supply must reach the rated current and power.

5. Put the router in flat places.

Set Up PC

For Windows 2000 or Windows XP Operating System, please comply with following steps to set up.

Right-click “My Network 

Places”, click “Properties”

Right-click “Local Area 

Connection”, click “Properties”

Double-click “Internet Protocol 

(TCP/IP)”

Choose “Obtain an IP address 

automatically” and “Obtain DNS 

server address automatically”, 

click “OK”; go back to previous 

interface and click “OK”

For Windows Vista or Windows 7 Operating System, please comply with following steps to set up.

Click “Start— Control Panel— Network 

and Internet— Network Connection”, 

right-click “Local Area Connection”, 

and choose “Properties”.

Double-click “Internet Protocol 

Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”

Choose “Obtain an IP address automatically” 

and “Obtain DNS server address automatically”, 

click “OK”; go back to previous interface and

 click “OK”

3G Wireless N Router

NOTE:

Set Up Router

Please set up the router following below steps.

Run the Web browser.

Input the User Name and Password, then click Login button 

(The default Username and Password is admin).

Then you wil see the Easy Setup interface.

(5.2) Input the User Name

APN and Dial Number the ISP 

provides.

When your 3G router connected 3G network successfully, the connect status 

will display “Connected”.

Wireless Network Connection

Right-click “My Network 

Places”, click “Properties”

Right-click “Wireless Network

Connection”, and click “View

 Available Wireless Networks”

Confirm the wireless network SSID name, 

choose one that you would like to connect, 

then click “Connect”

Input the encrytion key and click “Connect”

Have connected wireless network, you can access 

Internet through wireless mode.

Type http://192.168.1.1 in the web browser, then press Enter.

Choose the WAN Access Type, the default is USB3G/Dual Wan 

Access USB3G.

You can change wireless state, wireless SSID and encryption conveniently

as well. 

After you have finished your settings, please click Apply to save them. 

Here we take the encryption of WPA-Mixed for example to setup the router. 

(1) Choose Authentication Mode

(2) Choose WPA Cipher Suit

(3) Choose WPA2 Cipher Suite

(4) Choose Pre-Shared Key Format

(5) Input the Pre-Shared Key

How to reset the router to default settings?

1. Please make sure your router’s power is on regularly, then press the 

    RST-WPS button for about 10s.

2. Loosen the button until your router’s LED lights all flashing, then you 

    have reset your router to default settings.

Please reset your router to default settings firstly, and set a new password.

The default Username and Password is admin.

The default IP is 192.168.1.1.

(5.1) If you want to use 3G internet, plug in your 3G  USB modem into the 

3G router’s USB port.Then choose WAN Access Type USB3G/Dual Wan 

Access USB3G 

Also, you can choose other WAN Access Type according to your actual situation.

If your ISP has provided the fixed IP that allows you to access Internet, 
please choose this option. 

DHCP Client 

Dynamic  Host  Configuration  Protocol  (DHCP)  is  a  local  area  network 
protocol. If you choose this mode, you will get a dynamic IP address from 
your ISP automatically. 

PPPoE/Dual 
Wan  Access 
PPPoE 

Point-to-Point  Protocol  over  Ethernet  (PPPoE)  is  a  virtual  private  and 
secure connection between two systems that enables encapsulated data 
transport. Select PPPoE option if ISP provides a PPPoE connection. 

PPTP/Dual

PPTP 

PPTP means Point to Point Tunneling Protocol is a VPN connection that 
only applies in Europe. If you choose one of them, please type in all the 
information that your ISP provided for this protocol. 

L2TP/  Dual

L2TP 

L2TP  means  Layer  2  Tunneling  Protocol  is  a  VPN  connection  that  only 
applies  in  Europe,  Middle  East and Africa  (MEA)  regions.  If  you  choose 
one of them, please type in all the information that your ISP provided for 
this protocol. 

USB3G/Dual 
Wan  Access 
USB3G 

It supports users connect to Internet by 3G. If you want to use this method, 
you should plug in a 3G network card in the router’s USB port first.
