Check 4 

The touch pad or the touch pad cable may be damaged. Replace it with a new one 
following the instructions in Chapter 4, 

Replacement Procedures

. If the problem 

still exists, perform Check 7. 

 
Check 5 

Make sure the sensor/switch cable is firmly connected to the connector CN9600 
on the system board and to connector PJ9610 on the sensor/switch board. 

 

 

If the connection is loose, reconnect firmly and repeat Procedure 1. If there is still 
an error, go to Check 6. 

Check 6 

The sensor/switch board may be damaged. Replace it with a new one following 
the instructions in Chapter 4,
