Program 50-5 LCR Local Call Routing Selection
Least Cost Routing
Strata DK40 Programming Manual Spring 1999
5-9
Programs 50-300 ~ 319 Overview
This program allows up to 20 Exception/Override code tables (00~19) to each be
programmed with an Exception/Override code. The codes may be up to a maximum of seven
digits in length and should include emergency codes (i.e. 999 and 112). In addition any
override codes if indirect carrier access is used should also be included to allow for the
eventuality of the carrier failing (e.g. 121).
When any of these codes are dialled, LCR is flagged to treat the call as follows:
◆
The call is sent over the route plan specified in Program 50-9 (00 ~ 19).
◆
No additional digits need to be dialled, other than the telephone number. Therefore,
the call is put through immediately.

Program 50-5 Overview
The Local Call Plan handles special codes and operator calls. Of the 8 Route Plans
available for LCR call processing, define one as the Local Call Plan, typically Route Plan 8
(i.e. numbers that do not begin with ‘0’) will be routed.
