The following figure shows the computer’s back panel.

Eject Button
Press this to open the ODD tray.
Emergency Eject
Hole
In the event that the disc drive becomes
inexplicably locked or stops responding, insert a
slender object such as a straightened paper clip
into the eject hole to force a manual ejection of
the ODD tray.
Universal Serial Bus
(USB 2.0) ports
A pair of Universal Serial Bus ports is on the right
side. The ports comply with the USB 2.0
standard, which enables data transfer speeds
40 times faster than the USB 1.1 standard (The
ports also support USB 1.1). Keep foreign
objects out of the USB connectors. A pin or
similar object can damage the computer’s
circuitry. Operation of all functions of all USB
devices has not been confirmed. As such, some
untested third-party devices may not function
properly.
Security Lock
DC IN 19V Jack
DC IN 19V Jack
The AC adaptor connects to this socket. Use
only the model of AC adaptor that comes with the
computer. Using the wrong adaptor can damage
your computer.
Security Lock
A security cable attaches to this port. The
optional security cable anchors your computer to
a desk or other large object to deter theft.
