6 Choose Properties from the Options menu.
7 In the Properties dialog box, click the button next to
Recording.
You can choose from four volume controls:

Synth
❖
Line
❖
MixOut
❖
Mic
8 Make sure the box next to MixOut is selected (checked).
9 Click OK.
This leaves the mixer open on the desktop with the recording
controls displayed.
10 In the MixOut section of the window, select the check box
next to Select.
There should be a check mark in the check box.
11 Click Start, then point to Programs.
12 Point to Accessories, then point to Multimedia.
13 Click Sound Recorder.
Windows 95 opens the Sound Recorder program.
14 With the audio CD playing, click the record button on the
Sound Recorder.
15 When you’ve finished recording, click the stop button on
the Sound Recorder.
